Not Quite The Pittenweem Festival...
For the second successive year, the Pittenweem Arts Festival has been cancelled because of the Covid pandemic amid concern about the impact of thousands of visitors on the village.
But we will be open as a pop-up gallery from Saturday 7 August to Saturday 14 August, 11-5 every day. There will be no other artists in our normal venue at 46 Abbey Wall Road, down by the harbour.
As last year, a number of artists with premises along the harbour front are likely to show their work once shops, bars and restaurants have re-opened. We are joining the mini-festival.
I will be in my main gallery space on the ground floor showing new work on the theme of Coast and Country, much of it drawn from walking extensively during lockdown in my home area of North Berwick. As ever, some realistic images, and some less so.
Images of my new work will be posted in the Paintings section of my website in early June.
Love to see you in Pittenweem in August.
