With only weeks before the Pittenweem Arts Festival, my framers at Hangar Framing, Fenton Barns in North Berwick, are beavering away on my last larger paintings and beginning work on 17 smaller more abstract paintings. It’s an exciting phase and at each stage the work looks different. I get a huge buzz out of it and can’t thank enough my support team of Suzie, Jamie and Emma. Cracking job they do.

And, of course, I’m continuing to walk the coastlines in the great weather around North Berwick and Gullane. A half an hour from the house we are in the Lammermuir hills. Brilliant.
