Pittenweem Arts Festival 2023

From the mountains to the sea

This year’s annual show features a few of my favourite places – the Cairngorms in autumn and winter, Sutherland on a hazy summer day, the Lammermuir hills in their autumn colours, and the Dolomite mountains of the Italian Alps in deep snow.

In contrast, there are the magnificent beaches of Harris in the Western Isles and the parched orange soils and olive groves of the Majorcan hills.

And in even greater contrast is a new series of more abstract landscapes featuring all of those places, and more.

Sharing our venue are

John Scott of Sourdust Pottery and Edinburgh painter Jill Macleod.

Kirsten Boston, my fellow North Berwick painter, will be in the garage next door.

Please remember to buy the Arts Festival programme at the car park or the Festival Office on the High Street. This helps to fund the Festival – as well as guide you through the venues.

Please check the Pittenweem Arts Festival website for guidance on parking
